I love Shantel Tessier and even though it's been a while since I've read her, I certainly feel like I've been missing out and I am so glad I was able to read The Ritual because I certainly feel like this took me out of a little funk I was having lately.Barrington University is home of the Lords, a secret society that requires their blood in payment. There were major twists and turns that will certainly have you sitting there making you make a double take because you certainly wouldn't expect what was coming! It was a long book that had me hooked from beginning to end and even though I'm not as fast at reading as I used to be, I still managed to read this book at a pretty good pace and I just had such a hard time putting it down.īoth lead characters had me invested 100% and I loved the devotion they had for each other and how they would go out of the way for each other, they would kill and gave no f&cks and wouldn't let anyone get in the way of their love and that's what I call LOVE! I loved the plot, the storyline and the characters. I definitely feel like it was right up my alley because I love dark, gritty and depraved and this had all three things in this story.
